Mã Mây, Hàng Buồm, & also "Midnight Hanoi / Midnight Club" in Ma May) has many warnings from travelers: overpriced drinks, shady charges, extreme add-ons. Many people say on dating apps girls push to meet in that area (Ma May / Hang Buom), then guide the date to the club. In reviews: someone ordered beer with friends, 2 men + 2 women, only beer—bill turned out much higher than expected. One visitor said a bottle of wine cost ~ 3.5 million VND at Midnight Club. People warn against letting girls bring you to balloon services, etc., which increase bill massively.
